SCRABBLE TOURNAMENT EXPANDED TO INCLUDE TEENS

The Burlington/Woburn Scrabble Tournament at Burlington Public Library on Saturday January 28 has been expanded to include a teen Scrabble tournament simultaneously with the younger students' tournament. Usually students have "aged out" by ninth grade for school Scrabble, so this is something of an experiment!
It has not been decided yet whether students will follow adult rules and play one-on-one, or whether they will play two-on-two as the younger group does. Students in grades 9-12 will play in the Teen tournament, and grades 3-8 will play in the School Scrabble tournament.
