NEA announces The BIG Read Program

The NEA is accepting applications for their The BIG Read program, which is a "national program to encourage literary reading and revitalize the role of literature in American culture."  The program year will run from September, 2008 to June, 2009 and provided winners with the opportunity to attend a national orientation meeting, materials to promote your program, and the Organizer's Guide for developing and managing a Big Read program.
